Trail Stock (Trophy Class)
This
is a sled that has had no modifications and is ready for trail riding. You can move up to ISR Stock, Improved
Stock, ProStock or Open classes. Trail Stock Rules
·
Stock
suspension and track, trail picks allowed no chisels, Max 2 pair aftermarket
idler kits over ISR specs. ·
Suspension
can't be tied down, front or back. The
sled must maintain the appearance of a stock sled. ·
Max
clutch engagement 5500 ·
Stock
air box ·
Stock
pipe or pipes must be on sled; aftermarket silencers or canisters will be
permitted. ·
No
motor or carb modifications, except jetting. ·
Maximum
overbore allowance as per ISR Rules, .020 max ·
After-market
reeds and boost bottles are allowed. ·
Heel
Clickers will not be permitted. ·
Cool
Downs will Be Allowed. Classes 440 & Under Fan 441 – 500 Liq 501
– 600 701 – 800 440 & Under Liq 441 – 600 Fan 601
– 700 ISR Stock (Trophy Class)
All sleds in these classes will run according to the 2004 –
2005 ISR Rule book, with the exception of weights. Classes
500 & Under 601 – 700 801 – 1000 501 – 601 701 – 800 Improved Stock (Trophy Class)
All sleds in these classes will run according to the 2004 –
2005 ISR Rule book, with the exception of weights. Classes 441 – 500 701
– 800 501 –
600 801
– 900 601 – 700 901 – 1000 Pro Stock (Money Class) All sleds in these classes will run according to the 2004 – 2005 ISR Rule book, with the exception of weights. Classes
501 – 601 701 – 800 601 – 700 801 – 1000 Open (Money Class) This
is a run what you have! Sleds will sign up for their displacement size and can
move up from there. Cannot go into any Trail Stock , ISR Stock,
Pro Stock or Improved Stock Classes. Open Class Rules 1.)
Any motor modifications or aftermarket heads or cylinders 2.)

Any carbs 4.)
Any legal fuel 5.) Nitrous WILL be allowed ONLY in Top Gun. Bottle
must be removed for all other classes 6.)

Sled must have a tether and snow flap must be tied Classes 501 – 600 601 – 700 701 – 800 801 – 1000 1000 and up Top Gun Junior
Novice
(Trophy Class) This
class is for kids under the age of 15. This class excludes factory race sleds. All participants will receive a
trophy. Junior Novice Rules ·
Sleds
will be 440cc and under fans or liquids, no factory race sleds. ·
Basic
stock sleds that are trail rideable ·
Trail
Stock rules will apply ·
No cool downs will be allowed. Classes Junior Novice Mini Sleds (Trophy Class)
These are the Kitty Cats, Mini Z, XC 120, and Z 120. All participants will receive a trophy. Mini Sled Rules ·
There
will be trail stock classes, an improved stock class and an Open Class. ·
The
trail stock classes will run stock motors and be true stock sleds. There will be no gearing, no governor
bypass, no clutching. Wheel kits will
be allowed. ·
The
improved stock class will be stock
motors allowed to run with a governor bypass with any modifications to gearing,
clutching, air box and jetting changes.
Wheel kits will be allowed. ·
The
Open Class will allow any modification to the mini sled. Classes Trail Stock 120 – including Z120, ZR120, XC120, MiniZ Trail Stock
Kitty Cats – includes only Kitty Kats Improved Stock 120 – includes
improved 120 sleds Open
Mini Sleds – includes all of the above and any other brands, makes and models SAFETY RULES
THESE SAFETY ITEMS MUST BE ON EVERY SLED. 1.) Tether cord on all sleds 2.) Functional brakes 3.) Proper snow flaps/ tied on all sleds. 4.) All clutch and chain guards must be on sled 5.) Working handle bar kill switch 6.) Safety equipment (vest, shin guards, and helmet) ABSOLUTELY NO DRUGS / ALCOHOL / FIREARMS SPEED LIMIT
5 - MPH This includes sleds/cars/ trucks/ 4 -wheelers/bikes! Driver is responsible for:
1.)
Signing up for the correct classes according to these rules. 2.)
Driver must check to make sure their # is marked in right class, once class is
run there is no changes / refunds. 3.)
Once class is called you have 3 minutes to get to line - NO EXCEPTIONS! 4.)
Stay within marked lanes, if you go outside of lane you're DQ! 5.)
Wear helmet when sled is moving. 6.)
Clean out sleds with backstops behind sled at all times, lifting of sled for
clean out will not be tolerated. 7.)
Snow flaps tied down on all sleds. 8.)
Flak vest must be worn. 9.)
Shin guards must be worn. 10.)
Long pant/ shirt/ and ankle boots all classes. 11.)Tether
cords must be connected to driver when sled is running. 12.)
Eye protection must be worn in hot pit area! 13.)
It is driver's responsibility to follow all rules and guidelines! 14.)
Only the driver and two (2) helpers will be permitted on the line 15.) Red light is considered a loss, except in a final or a by-run 16.)
Drivers responsible for closing ski loops in for timing system Vulgarity /
Derogatory / or Offensive language will result in ejection! Not
responsible for accidents or theft! Points Race and Payouts:
The Xtreme Riders are using the same rules and class guidelines for both races for the 2005 season. Points will be kept track of so it will be important to stay in the classes you’ve already run in. · Points will be awarded to the sled, but will be tracked by the driver who registers that sled as well as the sled number. · Classes must have a minimum of 2 sleds in order to get points. · Points will be doubled for the second day of racing. · All payouts will be held over and awarded to the overall high points winner at the end of racing on the second day. The Points system will work as follows:
1st = 25 points 2nd = 20 points 3rd = 15 points 4th = 10 points |
